Welcome Back 302u - the doers, the dreamers, the discoverers.....I can't wait to see you!
Class of 2010 - Jolly Jolly Juniors
Women in Literature - Seniors - Take a deep breath - We have a lot of work ahead of us, starting with the college essay. Please consult your college applications as to the essay questions. This will be our first task. A win/win situation. You have to write the essay in order to fulfill the application requirements. For our purposes, it will be an assingment worth a test grade. You will have the opportunity to improve your grade with a writing conference which will also refine your essay for the final submission. Do not procrastinate....procrastination robs you of your most precious gift....TIME....and feeds the insatiable appetite of STRESS...Remember...Thoreau....[she] who advances confidently in the direction of her dreams and endeavors to live the life [she] has imagined will meet with success unexpected in the common hours....
English I/English I Honors
Welcome. I am looking forward to meeting each of you. This is your last weekend free from academic responsibilites ....so enjoy. It is important for you to have a seriousness of purpose, a strong work ethic, and a focus that will ensure success. Remember that being a student is your full time (40 hour per week) job. But it is equally important for you to remember to relax and trust. Relax because stress robs you of time and potential. You must trust the girl in the mirror and also trust me. I am here to support you and help you reach your full potential. We are a team, committed to achieving your personal best. I am anticipating a year full of curiosity, growth, knowledge, and laughter.
